My mattress is 12 inches thick. Will this fit?

Yes, this headboard is height-adjustable and is designed to accommodate mattresses ranging from 8 inches to 14 inches in thickness. A 12-inch mattress will fit perfectly within this range.

Can I wash the fabric cover?

Yes, the cover is removable thanks to a hidden zipper on the back. You can unzip it and machine wash it gently to keep it clean and fresh. We recommend air drying to maintain the softness of the fabric.

Is this headboard supportive enough for reading in bed? Worry it might feel too soft or flatten over time.

This headboard is designed with both comfort and lasting support in mind. It is 4.7″ thick in the middle and the lower back area reaches a maximum thickness of 6.3″. The ergonomic curve gently conforms to your spine while providing firm resistance.

Is installation really as simple as you claim? I don’t own a drill and I’m not very handy.

Yes, The whole process is very easy and can be done by one person, even without any prior experience. You only need to tighten four screws to complete the bracket installation. Then just place the headboard in position.

Does it work with platform beds?

Yes, it does. This headboard is designed to be secured by sandwiching it between your mattress and the platform bed base. As long as your platform bed has a solid, flat surface to support the mattress, the headboard will stay firmly in place.

Does it work with adjustable bed frames?

We do not recommend it. This headboard relies on being held in place between the mattress and the bed base. When you raise or lower the head of an adjustable bed frame, the mattress moves, which can loosen the headboard or cause it to shift.

Will it fit mattresses thicker than 14 inches?

Technically yes — it can work with mattresses up to 18 inches thick. However, when the mattress is very thick, it may lead to reduced stability. We do not recommend exceeding 14 inches for the best experience, but if you need, it is possible.
